After stumbling over its awful pre-modded PC port in 2012, the Dark Souls series has gone on to become one of the most revered on our platform of choice—well deserved of its silver medal placing in The PC Gamer Top 100. Its console cousin Bloodborne, however, remains a PS4-exclusive to this day which is a right shame because it's, ahem, bloody brilliant.
Japanese modder Vicn seemingly thinks so too and has spent the last year working on Glenmoril—a gorgeous Skyrim mod that aims to transport Yharnam to Tamriel with quests, weapons and armour sets inspired by From Software's beautiful gothic nightmarescape.
Check it out:
At present, only one Glenmoril ten-quest episode is available, named 'Little Red Riding Hood', however work is now underway on its second with a third and fourth...
YouTuber Releases Exclusive Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Videos Detailing Micro transaction, ProgressionStar Wars: Battlefront 2's release is fast approaching, and it appears EA has made a deal with the YouTube channel, BattlefrontUpdates to release a series of exclusive videos detailing various aspects of the game from microtransactions to character customization as well as progression. The key thing to take away from all of the videos is that progression is done by unlocking crates, not unlike those in Overwatch.
Crates will contain things like Credits, Star Cards, and crafting elements which can be used in different ways to unlock stuff within the game. Where microtransactions come in is if you decide that you want to speed up the rate of unlocks, you can do so by using real-world money to purchase in-game credits.
Here are the videos:

All things considered, the Nintendo Switch had a surprisingly strong showing at E3 2017, with Nintendo unveiling new footage of the system’s biggest upcoming games and making some surprise announcements. However, the 3DS and Nintendo’s mobile gaming venture were mostly forgotten at E3, apparently because the Nintendo Switch is the company’s number one priority.
This is according to Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime, who spoke in a recent interview about the company’s E3 showing. In the interview, Reggie was asked why Nintendo didn’t discuss any of its new mobile games, like the upcoming Animal Crossing game, for instance, and why the 3DS was only really given love during the Treehouse presentation.
“When it comes to mobile, we are just not sure if E3 is the place for us to be talking about mobile. As we think about our priorities, we see Switch as number one priority, followed very closely by the Nintendo 3DS.”...

We got our first look at the potentially revolutionary Nintendo Switch console back in October of 2016 and although we finally got confirmation that the console would be a home/handheld hybrid, we didn't find out much more than that.
Thanks to the Nintendo Switch presentation that took place during Thursday night, we now know a lot more. Nintendo got the big news out of the way first, revealing that the console will be available on March 3 2017 and that it will retail for $299.99/...

Many fans of the Bomberman series of games were excited to see snippets of what seemed to be a brand new Bomberman game in some of the Nintendo Switch trailers. This was eventually revealed by Konami to be Super Bomberman R, but this is far from the onlyBomberman-themed game to be in the works from the publisher. In fact, Konami is also working on a spin-off title of sorts called Bombergirl, which is currently being planned for an arcade release.

A Bethesda-themed PC sale brings with it new historic low prices on the likes of Dishonored 2, The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition and more this weekend.
PC gamers that couldn’t bite the $60 bullet back in November when Dishonored 2 released will be happy to know that Bethesda’s latest AAA stealth title has now dropped to under the 50% off mark. This is a first for the Dishonoredsequel, beating out the previous best price of $33 during those solid PC Winter sales in late December 2016.
The Dishonored 2 deal is part of a larger 12th Anniversary Sale at the Sweden-based digital retailer GamersGate. Making it 12 years in the competitive PC digital delivery business is no small feat, and the retailer has clearly...
The official Battlefield Twitter confirms that the Battlefield 1 Winter Update will launch next week, which will bring new bug fixes, balances, and improvements to the game.

To maintain the success of Battlefield 1, Electronic Arts and DICE have been consistently tweaking the game, fixing bugs, and releasing new content. According to the official Battlefield Twitter account,...

Players embark on a journey across three factions in a medieval world, claiming castles and lands for their own as they weave through...
According to Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima, the Nintendo Switch will not support a web browser at launch, but the feature could be added at a later date.
When the Wii U launched, it was a multimedia machine similar to other home video game consoles on the market, supporting streaming apps like Netflix and letting players browse the web at their leisure. A few weeks ago, it was revealed that Nintendo’s next console, the Switch, will not support streaming apps at launch, and now Nintendo president and CEO Tatsumi Kimishima has announced that it won’t support web browsing either.
Kimishima broke the news in an interview with Timemagazine. However, Kimishima made sure to emphasize that even though a web browser won’t be available for the Nintendo Switch...
